Meet your Coach

Hey! I’m Coach Suniyah, and I care about your mental and physical health. My journey began in 2011 during some of the hardest times of my life when I struggled with depression and self-doubt, even attempting suicide seven times. Growing up, I was stuck in negative thinking that led to habits like quitting and procrastinating. This mindset followed me into adulthood, causing anxiety, low self-esteem, and derailing my fitness goals.

In 2018, I made a life-changing decision: instead of giving up, I decided to get up. Therapy and strength training became my tools for building resilience and confidence—mentally and physically. By 2021, I hired a trainer who pushed me beyond my limits, and I learned that if I could lift heavy physical weights, I could also conquer my fears and insecurities life throws at me.

This realization led me to become a certified fitness and life coach, helping others not just look strong, but feel strong. At Release The Dope Fitness, we mix empathy, empowerment and fun workouts like circuits and HIIT to build strength in a safe, supportive community.

My mantra is simple: “Give up or get up.” Stop making excuses and start transforming yourself by renewing your mind and body.

Strength training boosts both your physical abilities and your mood by releasing dopamine, helping you feel more energized and motivated.
